Kiddies Races – Ready, Set, Go!
The Kiddies Races are all about fun, laughter, and a little friendly competition! Taking place in the main arena at 12:30, these races are a firm favourite with families and a great way for kids to burn off some energy while the crowd cheers them on.
We’ll have age categories for 4–5 year olds, 5–7 year olds, and 8–9 year olds, with plenty of chances for everyone to take part. Expect classic sprints, maybe a few fun twists, and lots of smiling faces at the finish line.
Prizes will be awarded to our speedy champions, but it’s all about joining in and having a great time. There’s a very special race happening afterwards that you’re going to love!
Bray Village Fête Dog Show - Who Will Be Top Dog?
Paws at the ready — the Dog Show is back and ready to celebrate Bray’s four-legged stars! Whether they’re dashing puppies, wise old woofers, or masters of the waggiest tail, every dog has their day in this much-loved event.
Taking place in the main arena, the Dog Show draws a big, enthusiastic crowd and is packed with fun, friendly competition. Categories include:
- Bray’s Best Puppy
- Bray’s Best Boy
- Bray’s Best Girl
- Bray’s Best Trick
- Bray’s Best Golden Oldie
- Bray’s Best in Show
Entries are £2 per category and are taken on the day at the Dog Show arena — just turn up, sign up, and get ready to shine. Prizes, rosettes, and endless tail wags guaranteed!
Kids’ Fancy Dress Parade – Join the Fun!
Calling all young superheroes, princesses, pirates, and everything in between — the Kids’ Fancy Dress Parade is your chance to shine at this year’s Bray Village Fête!
Taking place in the main arena just after the Dog Show, this colourful parade happens right at the height of the event, with a big crowd ready to cheer you on. Whether your costume is hand-made, shop-bought, or brilliantly improvised, we want to see it.
Our judges will be on the lookout for creativity, effort, and that all-important stage presence. Prizes will be awarded to the best costumes, so get your thinking caps on and bring your little ones in their fanciest attire for a moment they’ll never forget!
